Tim Morris brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to excellence to his role as the Regional Manager for Doyle Security Services in Florida. With a distinguished career spanning over 30 years, Tim has developed a comprehensive expertise in law enforcement and security management within the South Florida area.
Tim began his illustrious career in law enforcement as a Police Officer with the Miami Beach Police Department, where he honed his skills in community policing and law enforcement operations. He later achieved a milestone by becoming the first African American Police Officer at the Biscayne Park Police Department, a role in which he demonstrated strong leadership and dedication to community service. Transitioning from public law enforcement to private security, Tim ventured into contract security management, where he continued to excel and make significant impacts.
Before joining DSS, Tim held significant leadership positions, including Area Vice President and Regional Manager at major security providers. In these roles, Tim was responsible for overseeing large-scale security operations, including government facilities, commercial establishments, retail centers, maritime port terminals, and homeowners’ associations (HOAs). His expertise in contract negotiations and security operations management is well known in the industry.
Tim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Saint Thomas University. His academic background has provided him with a strong foundation in leadership theories and practices, which he applies adeptly to manage complex security operations and team dynamics effectively. Known for his strategic thinking and proactive approach, Tim has significant expertise in contract negotiations, comprehensive management of diverse security contracts, leadership in high-stakes environments, and a commitment to local community relations.
Operating out of the DSS branch office in Plantation, Florida, Tim is instrumental in developing staffing, work scheduling, training, and preparing other operational requirements for his client accounts.
